Central Management Committee
The KHCS Bylaws require that the Society is managed by a committee referred to as the Central Management Committee (CMC) that should have a minimum of seven (7) members and not more than nine (9) members.
Terms of Service:
Members of the committee are eleted from the general membership at a duly convened Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Each elected member can serve in the CMC for a maximum period of three years; after which he/she retires. Should such member wish to continue serving in the CMC, he/she can seek to be re-elected at the next AGM. The Bylaws also require that at least one third of the committee retire every year; but such members can seek re-election. A member of the CMC can opt to resign before the three-year term is up. In such instance, the position is filled through an election at the next AGM. The term of the replacement runs as if the original member had not resigned.
